Venture Skills is a new media start-up company based in East Anglia in the UK. Our goals are to expand the use of new technology to small and medium size businesses within the region and beyond. Our hope is that with time and effort on our part we can make "new media" an essential part of businesses in the region.

Venture skills is made up of a small team of web developers and media experts our skill set ranges from audio technology through to video production web site design. As well as mode technical subjects such as database design and scalable systems such as high performance computer clusters.

Our skills set may not make us unique but it does allow us to develop scalable long term solutions for our clients and this coupled with our enthusiasm for the technology and friendly non technical manner should make hopefully allow clients to feel at ease. Our key philosophies are openness and friendliness, we adopt open standards where ever possible and really heavily on open source software and we contribute to the open source movement where its possible providing bug fixes etc. We believe that as a company we need to be open about what we can and can't do and to involve the client at all stages. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff are always available to help we have no sales team per say which allows us to concentrate on what the customer wants straight away.
